A new menswear company was about to step into the limelight. Their brand was all about daring and hunger, ideas that are not commonly associated with “apprentice,” but are vital to being one.
REI Sign Design
Working in close coordination with the Visual Merchandisers. An artistic direction was developed playing off of Ansel Adams or similar backcountry notepads. I managed the application of style and P.O.S. communication based on the seasonal and/or campaign request from the merchandisers.
During this process asset generation and acquisition for use by future designers to more readily and easily hit the style and quality of the in-store signage REI's customers have come to expect.
