The coding of the newly formed longboard builder was built on the backbone of the skateboard complete builder, requiring a single page for two otherwise very separate sports. Up-leveling from the previous aesthetic (pictured below) the goal was to provide both sports equal page real estate and importance while maintain a distinct and separate identity for each sports identity. A side scrolling interface was chosen as it implies a ‘moving’ away from the alternate style of riding and allows for an explanative section for those interested in either sport but not sure which style of board they would prefer.
